Course Options

  • Empty conference room with a long wooden table, nine beige office chairs with wheels, a computer monitor, and a projector ceiling mount, in front of large windows overlooking an outdoor landscape.

    Supervisor Training

Focuses on issues unique to supervisory roles, including qualified immunity, constitutional violations that lead to discipline or lawsuits, F.S. 112, with a focus on the Officer’s Bill of Rights.

We emphasize how supervisors can protect both themselves and the agency from exposure to liability.

  • Night view of the Miramar Police Headquarters building with palm trees lining the sidewalk, illuminated street lamps, and a clear evening sky.

    Department-Wide Legal Refresher

A comprehensive legal update covering major case law and statutory changes. We typically recommend including Fourth Amendment search and seizure, Miranda, consent, and case-filing considerations. Departments often request additional focus on problem areas such as trespass or loitering and prowling.

  • Close-up of a black microphone on a stand, with a blurred background of wood and color tones.

    Courtroom Preparation

Interactive training designed to prepare any officer for the courtroom. We cover depositions, motions, trial testimony, handling combative defense attorneys, and conduct a mock trial.

Instructors will direct and cross examine officers to build confidence and professionalism. We create a fact pattern unique to your department for our mock trial. Departments have the option of sending us officer names ahead of time to assign fun and interactive roleplaying.

  • A person writes in a notebook with a black pen, sitting at a table with a red book beside them, in a room with a window and plants in the background.

    Issue Focused Legal Training

Agencies frequently reach out to us following new case law or legislative changes that create an immediate need for retraining.

Other times, repeated issues within an agency highlight the need for targeted legal training to address the root cause.

Our Issue-Focused Legal Training  will focus on your department’s needs. Instructors will examine individual cases and review practical strategies officers can apply immediately in the field.
